Named after the much maligned, often controversial "mother of the Mestizos," Malintzin was a slave and translator given to Cortes during the Spanish invasion of what is now Mexico. Our Malintzin makes a sumptuously sexy statement in silk velvet in Willow. A delicate knit made of metal gracefully trims the neckline in gold.

An interplay of sheer and solid, delicate and strong, the Septima dress is ethereal tiers of silk chiffon with eyelash lace accents. Our namesake, Septima Clarke, was an educator and mother of the Civil Rights movement in the United States.

The Diane Tank

The Diane tank in citrine silk crepe is beautifully pieced and delicately pleated. Dolores Huerta is a civil rights activist and one of the founders of what has became the United Farm Workers. Diane Nash is a pioneering civil rights activists and spearheaded some of the most effective campaigns of the movement.
